m[a/i]cro cosmic dust

A poem I wrote May 23, 2020 in the park.

Could I memorize every blade of grass
Would that make me feel some sort of better
That I imagine I should

It should be easy I've heard
To transmute my heart into ether
Gaseous nothing
Atoms circling
Blissfully

Roll in the dirt
To mix in the cells
Millionaires DNA blending
Softly, forcefully
With intention

Starting up something new
To disrupt biology
Mother Nature doesn't give a fuck
She's not amused
But you do you

No matter how many times
There's always something to learn
The holographic mirror doesn't lie
The ego can't help it

We are the ants and the dinosaurs
The neutrinos and Neptune
A black hole and billions of galaxies

We are every currency every created
Every stock market
Every bell, every call to prayer
Every dogma
Every thought

Every carrier pigeon
Every marathon
Every poisonous plant
Every nourishing seed

The carbon the hydrogen the oxygen
Every combination

Every innovation
Supposedly
Evolving
Revolving
Whether you care to notice or not

If you can't be here now
Where are you
Where are you
Why are you
How are you
Who are you
What are you

You are every blade of grass
Don't ever forget
Your heart is ether
I can feel it

You are also the pieces of glass
Concealed
Never forget
You are cosmic debris

Nothing to fear
Just breathe
