This New Moon in Aquarius is happening at 1°. New Moons are always a fresh start, but with every planet except Uranus Direct (that is, not Retrograde and behaving as we expect), there is so much momentum available to us.
As always, New Moons are a wonderful opportunity to set intentions, especially related to the sign its in. For Aquarius, think groups, community building, friends, technology, your big dreams and desires, your nervous system, radical change, objectivity and detachment, openness, flexibility, and freedom.
Uranus, one of Aquarius’ rulers, stations Direct the next day, on the 22, which is sure to help usher in sudden shifts.
The Moon forms a supportive trine to Mars in Gemini, which can help us understand our emotions and motivation from an intellectual perspective, uniting our feelings with our conscious intentions. We can take things more seriously in a way that will keep us on our path.
Jupiter in Aries is in the mix too, forming a sextile to the Moon, bringing optimism, positivity, a warmth and generosity towards others, with opportunities for growth on the horizon. Help out your community and they’ll help you.

Transformative Pluto is hanging out right near the Moon and Sun, adding a lot of intensity. Deep feelings may emerge, and you may feel mentally overwhelmed, especially because the Moon and Sun are in an Air sign (Aquarius),
making things very cerebral.
Venus and Saturn are conjunct in Aquarius, which can make some relationships feel strained, but at the same time reveal their practical aspects. It’s a great time to get advice from elders, too.
Finally, Mercury in Capricorn is being stimulated by Uranus in Taurus, about to station Direct. Expect shifts in thinking, feeling more alive, new ideas, experiences,
and exciting people.
